This book is originally published in Japanese, and reviews some aspects of the current studies of language teacher cognition (LTC) in the Japanese EFL context. The study of LTC has been substantially recognized by researchers and teachers who are working in Japan since Simon Borg came to Japan at the JACET Summer Seminar in 2008. Almost at the same time, JACET SIG on LTC started its activities.
